Meta’s Muse personal AI agent is now available in Singapore to help consumers shop, order food delivery and make travel bookings. better yet, users can do these through a conversation rather than toggle between apps.
Available on iOS, Android and muse.ai, Muse can connect to Gmail, Google Calendar and Instagram to manage email, coordinate schedules and use saved content to help with everyday tasks.
Singapore partners include Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com, and Lazada, although connector features will roll out progressively, with some arriving later.
“Muse is your personal agent, built to help make everyday life easier. We are connecting Muse with some of the most iconic brands in Singapore and the region, so you can get things done with the services you already use and love,” said Nicole Tan, Managing Director of Meta Singapore.
Launch experiences include personalised product recommendations and comparisons on Shopee, grocery basket preparation through GrabMart, and shopping and travel price comparisons that account for ShopBack cashback. Users can also discover and book experiences through Klook within the same conversation.
For a grocery request, Muse asks clarifying questions, builds a basket and checks the GrabMart store, total price and delivery time before getting the user’s final approval to complete the order.
Users choose which services and information Muse can access. Agents will then check with them before taking sensitive actions such as sending an email or making a purchase.
Muse runs on a dedicated cloud computer called Muse Secure VM, which securely stores connected-service data and credentials while keeping passwords and payment methods out of the agent’s view.
Most everyday uses are free with subscription plans available for those who want additional capabilities.
