Huawei debuts ultra-thin MatePad Pro Max tablet

Just 4.7mm. That’s how strikingly thin the Huawei MatePad Pro Max, making it one of the lightest 13‑inch plus tablets on the market.

Weighing a mere 509g, the ultra‑portable sports a13.2‑inch flexible OLED PaperMatte panel with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 3K (3000×2000) resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and delivers up to 1,600 nits peak brightness. The optional nano‑etched PaperMatte surface reduces glare and adds a paper‑like feel.

Under the hood are Huawei’s Kirin T93 Pro chipset and improved dual‑layer VC cooling, plus configurations up to very large memory and storage. Huawei offsets thermal limits with a bigger heat‑dissipation design and 10,400mAh battery to sustain up to 14.5 hours of continuous use.

A True-to-Color Camera makes its debut on the MatePad Pro Max, paired with a 50 MP ultra-HD rear camera for more accurate colour reproduction.

The tablet runs HarmonyOS with desktop‑style multitasking (run three active windows) and a PC‑level WPS Office suite with AI features for a laptop‑like productivity experience on the device. The package aims to deliver a laptop‑style workflow while keeping the overall kit more portable than heavier 13‑inch alternatives.

Designed to work together are the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard and M‑Pencil Pro with built-in stylus storage and charging.

The MatePad Pro Max is available for S$1,898 in Singapore with bundled promotional gifts during launch. Get it from Huawei Experience Stores, authorised retailers Challenger, iShopChangi and MetaPod, or on ShopeeLazada and TikTok Shop.
