The boldest (and wildest) festival in Singapore is back, but this time around, it aims to do more than entertain – it aims to empower youths.

Artbox 2026 is taking place over two weekends – April 3 to 5 and April 10 to 12 – at Singapore Expo Hall 3 from 12 to 11 pm. Hosted and organised by Invade, the 7th edition of Artbox features an exciting collaboration between the National Youth Council and Artbox as a part of the SG Youth Plan.

“Artbox 2026 is about youth empowerment,” stated the emcee during the launch – and the organisers have gone above and beyond to ensure this.
Careers, Creativity, and Real Opportunities

In the Career Human Library Zone, youth get to interact with professionals, industry veterans and creators via NYC’s Discovery on My Way platform and listen to their life stories. The Job Taster initiative, created in conjunction with the ICO Collective and Singapore Repertory Theater, gives youth the opportunity to experience content creation, direction, and acting within a safe space.
Students in the Spotlight
Schools are deeply involved too. At the Beauty in the Air booth by The Shilla Duty Free Singapore, ITE students in beauty and wellness are running a live Makeup Bar, serving real festival-goers with professional touch-ups and fragrance consultations.

Senior Minister of State Low Yen Ling put it plainly at the opening: “At their booth, our Institute of Technical Education’s Higher Nitec in Beauty & Wellness students will serve real customers. Do volunteer to be their customer as well, and through that, it will allow them to gain valuable hands-on experience.” It’s a simple yet powerful reminder that being part of this festival can directly support a young person’s learning journey (this experience is free for all at the booth!)
Republic Polytechnic students also helped produce some of this festival’s social media videos, gaining real-world skills in the process.
Giving Back, One Sticker at a Time

Empowerment at Artbox 2026 does not only pertain to careers and education – it spills into the social impact sphere as well. For example, the initiative entitled Project Smile Pack aims to educate attendees about the power of individual actions within a broader social context. The initiative urges attendees to buy a sticker pack and stick it at the booth, signing their names and thereby demonstrating their support for Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home.
This particular point proves to be significant since it highlights the fact that social impact cannot be considered solely the responsibility of charity organizstions and corporations. Instead, each individual – no matter his/her age – has the opportunity to make a change and contribute to the development of society, even at a festival.
Local Creatives and Global Flavours

Artbox has brought local creatives into the spotlight as well. More than 300 creators and businesses have been gathered under one roof, featuring local products such as YOTM apparel brand from Singapore, Sabi Studio art group, as well as Heng Suay Eating House. Artbox has also collaborated with Korean brand Wiggle Wiggle with various installations across the hall.

Look forward to experiencing the finest collection of lifestyle and design products, wearable art, handcrafted items, and more than 90 food and beverage vendors offering anything from oysters and durians in dessert form to homemade gelato and South East Asian condiments. You can also find cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory in the American pavilion here!

In addition, interactive activities are spread across the hall, from informative booths and games to photo opportunities and a kids’ playground.
Artbox 2026 has something for everyone – don’t miss it!
