The Vivo V60 smartphone is for those who want to live life without constantly looking for a charger, snap pro-level photos with ease, and enjoy a device that feels as good as it looks.

We took it for a spin at a few tourist spots in Singapore — the Museum of Ice Cream (above) by day and Gardens by the Bay (below) by night, plus some other places in between. And the V60 scores on all fronts.

Zeiss magic in the pocket
The 50MP Zeiss super telephoto camera with a periscope design is amazing (below normal left and zoomed in right). The up to 10x zoom can capture distant details or get a super close up shot at a concert (pity we didn’t attend one during the review period — our next is in December).

With 50MP resolution and optical image stabilisation, the main camera delivers crisp, detailed photos even in low light, while the ultra-wide and group selfie cameras round out the package for all your shooting needs.
But the real fun lies in the software. The Zeiss multifocal portrait system offers five classic portrait focal lengths, each with signature Zeiss bokeh effects for that pro look.

AI is applied to make photos look better and the way you want it. For a seasonal twist, the AI four-season portrait feature (summer left and fall fall) lets you switch seasons with with a tap. AI Erase removes unwanted passersby, Magic Move repositions subjects, and Photo Enhance gives old snaps a fresh look.
Software: Smooth and smart
Vivo’s Funtouch OS is lightweight and responsive with features such as extended RAM support for multi-tasking and a five-year smoothness promise. The phone also comes with four OS updates and six years of security patches, more than enough till the next phone change.
AI features like Gemini integration, Smart Call Assistant for real-time transcription and translation and Game Voice Changer for playful gaming moments add a layer of convenience and fun.
Look-and-feel: Sleek and slim
The Vivo V60 is a quite a looker. With a 7.53mm ultra-slim profile and a curved screen that blends seamlessly into the frame, it feels both elegant and is comfortable to hold.
The minimalist camera module keeps things sleek. With Diamond Shield Glass and IP68/IP69 rating, you get the peace of mind that it can withstand the occasional drop or splash.
As for colours, there are three — Berry Purple (my personal favourite), Summer Blue and Mist Gray.

Battery life: Power that lasts
With a massive 6500 mAh BlueVolt battery, the Vivo V60 is like that Energizer bunny that seemingly never runs out of energy.
Vivo claims it can handle up to 22 hours of YouTube streaming or nine hours of continuous navigation on a single charge. Caveat is that we didn’t put this to the test because we cherish our sleep.
The battery uses advanced silicon carbon anode tech for better longevity and features such as Super Battery Saver and Battery Life Extender help keep things running smoothly even as the battery ages.
Conclusion

The Vivo V60 is a powerhouse that balances long battery life, pro-grade cameras, smart software, and a sleek design. It delivers on snapping photos, streaming videos and looking sleek and stylish. And it is priced competitively too at S$699 (including a phone cover AND charging head and cable).
