Huawei Mate X7 landing in Singapore this January

Huawei today announced that the ultra-slim innovative foldable flagship device, HUAWEI Mate X7, is landing in Singapore.

Notable Mate X7 specifications include an 8-inch LTPO OLED foldable display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,500 nits peak brightness. With a 120Hz refresh rate display, visuals for scrolling, gaming, and videos are definitely going to be much smoother. Other specs include the Kirin 9030 Pro chipset, a 50MP “True-to-Colour” primary camera sensor featuring an f/1.5–f/4.0 aperture and OIS support, a 50MP 3.5x periscope camera—quite an impressive specification, and a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery.

In contrast to the slab design of the Pura 80 Pro, whose imaging-centric 1-inch sensor and 5170mAh battery are complemented by 100W charging support, the Mate X7 has the benefit of foldable design, enabling dual-screen multitasking, as well as a larger battery and highly robust hinges, though at the expense of its charging speed.

The new Mate X7 made its first international appearance at the Huawei flagship product launch event in Dubai last month. In Singapore, the pre-order for the smartphone begins on 23 January 2026 at Huawei Experience Stores, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop with a price tag of S$2,398. Free gifts valued at S$1,694 are included in the deal, including the MatePad 11.5.”

This foldable takes productivity and practicality to the next level among the tech-savvy and I’m definitely keen on testing this foldable device.
