Lamb Weston’s crispy fries land in Singapore

Longing for crispy fries? How about checking out Lamb Weston’s crispy fries?

The brand is celebrating its 75th anniversary by bringing its retail range of crispy fries to Singapore. This marks its retail debut in Southeast Asia.

Singapore consumers can now enjoy restaurant-quality fries at home, available exclusively at FairPrice, FairPrice Xtra and FairPrice Finest outlets.

Founded in 1950 on a small American farm in Weston, Oregon, Lamb Weston has grown to be one of the world’s largest frozen potato companies. It is renowned for its innovative potato-cutting technologies and proprietary Stealth batter coating that locks in crispiness up to twice as long.

The brand is introducing four signature fry varieties:

  1. Original Fries with a classic skin-on cut
  2. Grill Fries with bold crinkle grooves and salt-and-pepper seasoning
  3. Ziggy Fries featuring a signature zig-zag cut with deep ridges for extra crispiness
  4. Potato Dippers, scoop-shaped fries perfect for dipping and sharing.

All fries are Halal-certified, vegan and gluten-free to suit diverse dietary needs.

To celebrate the launch, the fries are offered at a special introductory price of S$6.15 (usual S$6.65) at FairPrice outlets across Singapore. Starting November 22, weekend sampling roadshows will be held at select stores where shoppers can taste the fries and redeem a limited-edition Lamb Weston Fry Clip Fridge Magnet with any two-pack purchase during the event.

“Our fries are more than just a snack, they’re crafted for real moments of joy — whether you’re sharing with family, entertaining friends, or simply indulging yourself. Launching in Singapore allows more consumers to experience the crispiness, flavor, and quality that have made Lamb Weston a trusted name around the world,” said Jeevan Dass, Senior Commercial Director of Asia Pacific at Lamb Weston.
