Lenovo Experience Showcase at *SCAPE

“With youth, for youth, by youth” was unveiled as the core theme at Lenovo’s latest hands-on event at *SCAPE. On September 30, Lenovo showcased its Legion & LOQ Gen 10 lineup, spotlighting the company’s latest gaming innovations.

Nigel Lee, General Manager of Lenovo Singapore

The partnership with *SCAPE underscores Lenovo’s dedication to nurturing creativity, empowering and engaging Singapore’s youth. The event opened with remarks from Nigel Lee, General Manager of Lenovo Singapore, who emphasised Lenovo’s commitment to empowering the next generation of gamers and creators.

*SCAPE Deputy Executive Director, Ethen Ong, also highlighted the upcoming November opening of a new *SCAPE, as a gateway where Singapore’s youths can discover boundless possibilities, be inspired, and empowered to be the best version of themselves.

At the event, Lenovo reinforced its leadership as Singapore’s leading PC company since 2020, according to IDC’s global quarterly computing device tracker. This achievement was highlighted by Lenovo Singapore’s Consumer Lead, Joan Ng, who also noted the company’s impressive 15-year streak as the number one PC company in the Asia Pacific region. Ms Ng pointed to Lenovo’s role as the official technology partner of FIFA as evidence of the brand’s successful expansion from gaming into sports and entertainment.

Car Simulations

On the show floor, the Microsoft PC Game Pass sponsored “Reboot & Race” booth gave attendees the opportunity to experience real time car simulations, an immersive tie in with Singapore’s week-long F1 Grand Prix. Clifford Chong, AP Gaming Category Lead, showed Lenovo’s gaming leadership, citing the number one gaming PC brand in the region for four years running and how it sped up to become an end-to-end gaming ecosystem including handhelds, glasses, OLED monitors, and extensive software and services support  to meet the needs of consumers ranging from gamers to creators.

Engagement was not limited to gaming technology: the “Just Dance” zone, driven by Lenovo Yoga and Microsoft Copilot, aims to engage Gen Z audiences with TikTok style dance challenges, while Lenovo ThinkPads and Microsoft CoCreator enabled interactive personalisation of lifestyle items. Between October 1-5, the multi-sensory recharge room will give audiences a one-of-a-kind space to wind down and recharge in alignment with Lenovo’s focus on user well-being and all-round experience.

Lenovo Legion 9i

Visitors will also get a chance to experience hands-on Lenovo’s latest laptops, including its gaming range which showcases the Lenovo Legion 9i laptop which features a one-of-a-kind 3D display for content creation and gaming (with no 3D glasses required).

Throughout, there was one clear and resounding message: Lenovo’s event at *SCAPE not only celebrated its Legion Gen 10 and LOQ Series showcase but also signaled a broader intention to fuel Singapore’s youth, inspire creators, and set the pace for a new era of tech fueled possibilities ahead of the official opening of the new look *SCAPE in November.
