Pocky’s new local flavours join the SG60 celebrations

Taking cue from the SG60 celebrations, Pocky has launched new local flavours! Glico has released two special offerings, Durian and Ondeh-Ondeh, flavoured with durian and coconut (and gula melaka I hope) for a home-like taste experience and designed with Singaporean tastebuds in mind. These unique versions add a dash of heritage to Pocky’s signature crunchy biscuit sticks, transforming the familiar cream-coated snack into a celebration of local flavours.

What makes it even more interesting this year is that Pocky has partnered with Kopitiam to introduce a Heritage Set that comes with hazelnut toast, two soft-boiled eggs, a hot milo (a breakfast staple), accompanied by the new, special-edition Pocky sticks—a fun and modern expression of what we all cherish about Singapore’s food culture.

Personally, I think putting out such unique flavours is quite a hip way to celebrate our nation’s awesome 60th! The Peranakan-themed packaging itself look celebratory, a twist from the usual pocky packaging, and the fact that it’s limited-edition makes it pretty enticing to try out. This pocky range is only available for a short time at supermarkets, convenience stores, Kopitiam outlets, and online for $1.85.

Don’t miss out on this creative twist on heritage before it vanishes!
