Garmin Venu X1 sets new standards for watch displays and slimness

Garmin has introduced the Venu X1 in Singapore, transforming smartwatch design with its slim 8mm titanium case and massive 2inch (51.2mm) edge-to-edge AMOLED screen-the thinnest and biggest in its class.

Weighing just 34g (40g with the band included), the Venu X1 is designed to be worn all day, with its light titanium caseback, scratch-resistant sapphire lens, and 24mm quick-release ComfortFit nylon band.

Inside its slim case, the Venu X1 delivers full capability:

  • Built-in speaker and mic for making and receiving phone calls from your wrist (when paired with a compatible smartphone).
  • LED flash for added safety and convenience in dimly lit environments.
  • Voice command for hands-free operation such as starting a workout or setting a timer, even when not connected to a phone.
  • Watch face customisation and adjustment of font size for easy viewing of health data, notifications, and maps.
  • Over 100 sport modes, heightened health tracking (heart rate, HRV, sleep, and stress), and colour TopoActive maps.

The Venu X1 lasts for up to eight days in smartwatch mode (two days using always-on display). It lacks the Venu 3’s 14-day battery life but competes with other known models in Singapore such as the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, both of which cannot outsize the Venu X1 when it comes to screen size or thinness.

Price and Availability

Garmin Venu X1 is available at S$1,099 and will start from July 8, 2025 at Garmin Brand Stores, Lazada, Shopee, Garmin Online Store, Takashimaya, and authorised retailers in Singapore.

For those seeking a smartwatch with bold screen, super-slender design, and powerful health features, the Venu X1 is an appealing newcomer.
