Rediscovering Malaysia’s Hidden Gems with ‘Unfading Memoirs’

For many Singaporeans (myself included!), a trip across the causeway to Malaysia represents a quintessential holiday experience. While we pride ourselves in knowing many great places to eat and shop in Malaysia, we know that Malaysia has a lot more to offer – but what exactly can we do there? Perhaps Unfading Memoirs can inspire us.

AXN Asia and Tourism Malaysia have teamed up to launch a new travel series, Unfading Memoirs, which premiered on 11 July 2024. This series features three hosts – Justin Bratton, Selina Lo, and Erwan Heussaff (foodies, you should know him) – all who wonderfully walk viewers through different destinations and experiences in Malaysia including KL, Penang, Sarawak, and Sabah.

The trailer below shows Bratton and Lo already showcasing unique experiences offered in Malaysia which is honestly pretty sweet. From enjoying the views from hot air balloon rides to diving in Sabah, I think the show can definitely inspire many to dare to explore different adventures in Malaysia.

Also, I really like how the show offers destinations on both Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia. Many a time, we’re so used to the main island of Malaysia because of its accessibility via land transportation. But East Malaysia – an area I visited for the first time this year – has a lot to offer.
